Save Time on Your Amazon Affiliate Links with My New Bookmarklet!

Hey Reader!

I'm excited to introduce a nifty tool that’s going to make your life easier – a specially designed bookmarklet for Amazon Affiliate links! If you’ve ever found the process of creating affiliate links time-consuming, this tool is for you. It simplifies the task, allowing you to generate affiliate links directly from Amazon product pages with just one click.

What is a Bookmarklet?

A bookmarklet is a small JavaScript program stored as a bookmark in your browser. It enables you to perform actions on the web page you’re viewing without the need for a separate app or extension. Think of it as a shortcut or a magic button for your browser that can add powerful functionalities to your browsing experience.

How Can This Bookmarklet Help You?

For Amazon affiliates, creating links is a regular task. My little bookmarklet automates this process. By embedding your affiliate ID into the bookmarklet code, you can generate your personalized affiliate link for any Amazon product page without having to manually edit URLs or navigate away from the page. This saves precious time, allowing you to focus more on creating content rather than on administrative tasks.

Get Started with Our Amazon Affiliate Link Bookmarklet

Here’s how you can set up and use the bookmarklet:

  1. Edit the Bookmarklet Code: Replace 'YOUR_AFFILIATE_ID_HERE' with your actual Amazon affiliate ID in the code provided below.
  2. Create the Bookmarklet:
    • Right-click on your bookmarks bar and select “Add page” or “New bookmark”.
    • Name it as you like, for example, “Amazon Affiliate Link”.
    • Paste the modified code into the URL or Location field.
  3. Use the Bookmarklet:
    • Go to an Amazon product page.
    • Click your “Amazon Affiliate Link” bookmark.
    • A prompt will display your affiliate link. Copy it and use it as needed.

Bookmarklet Code:

javascriptCopy code
javascript:(function(){var affiliateId = '
YOUR_AFFILIATE_ID_HERE
'; var asinMatch = location.href.match(/\/dp\/([A-Z0-9]{10})/); if(asinMatch){ var affiliateLink = 'http://www.amazon.com/dp/'+asinMatch[1]+'/?tag='+affiliateId; window.prompt('Copy your affiliate link:', affiliateLink);}else{alert('Not an Amazon product page or ASIN not found.');}})();

Remember, even if you have little to no coding experience, this task is simple and straightforward.
